Every time I’m sitting in the Kogod Courtyard, I wonder why I ever bother to type anywhere else. It’s warm in the winter and cool in the summer, bathed in natural light and surrounded by trees; it’s like you’re outdoors but somewhere with perfect weather, a bit of San Diego surrounded by stately columns. Free Wi-Fi. Abundant tables. Expansive space. Food and drink for sale. You want white noise? Give up the grind of the espresso machine for the laughter of kids splashing in the barely-there water features. Just charge up before you go. There are no outlets in heaven.
