Best Snow Relic

Mount St. Fenty
We Love DC coined this term to describe a particularly massive mountain of snow on the Mall. But Mount St. Fenty is perhaps better deployed as a catch-all for the banks, piles, and drifts of snow that visited our city during February, encapsulating much of the animosity directed at the mayor’s performance during the winter’s blizzards. A muddy, sludgy tribute to the struggles the city faced in recovering after back-to-back-to-back Snowmageddons, the many Mount St. Fentys have, by March, finally been whittled down thanks to rising temperatures and spring rains. Still, the pièce de résistance: the Department of Public Works dumping ground in D.C. General parking lots near the banks of the Anacostia River.
