Best Fictional Museum That Should Become a Reality
The Museum of Science Fiction
D.C. has more than 75 museums, but none of them features a lifelike replica of a Xenomorph from Alien. Not yet, anyway. The people behind the proposed Museum of Science Fiction boast it will be the first comprehensive museum of its kind in the world, but in a town already packed with niche museums, do we really one that could conceivably pay permanent tribute to Jar-Jar Binks? Absolutely. Early designs show galleries dedicated to other worlds, time travel, and robots, promising an institution museum that will boldly go where no other D.C. museum has gone before. Except maybe the Air and Space Museum, on occasion.
